Getting My Second wind....

Or my third wind, I lost count about an hour ago. My day was pretty long, but great. I got up at 5:15 am to launch my new workout routine (o.k. I have been plotting this 5:15 am thing for a couple of weeks). I actually got up, yeah!! I went for a twenty minute run with my dog, Gunner (he needed a little prodding to get up as well). I then proceeded to do resistance training for twenty minutes. I am not sure why one must do resistance training. I absolutely hate it!!!! I then did a little yoga. All in all, I felt good. Ready to start my day.

The kids and I took my mother-in-law to the airport at 7:15. She was going to Hawaii (could I climb in the suitcase?). No, no, no. Back home I go to get started on school with Jacob and Jordyn (kinder and second) and yes, I am their teacher. We got in about an hour and then I had to take them to the doctors at 9: 45. Needless to say, lingering colds, nothing more serious. We did some school work there, so not a waste of time, per se. Got back home finished school and then headed to hockey. I help coach Jordyn's mini-mite team (trying being on the ice with a bunch of 4 and 5 year olds around dinner time). I then did the switch with my husband. He coaches Jacob's tournament team right after. I get Jordyn undressed, get her situated with food and coloring books, then I head home to do a quick change (helmet head in tact), and head off to work. I teach at National University (among others), but Monday nights are my "office hours." No students usually, maybe just one or two that come to do work. I am here until around 9:30.

Wow! After reading this, I am a little dizzy, but I can say that it was a day of blessings!! Although, my pillow is sounding quite nice.

Good night! Oh, I forgot. In between somewhere in the haze, I managed to design a jewelry piece and get one posted on Etsy. Check it out!!!

GETTING STARTED!!

O.k., I am new to this and a feeling a little lost on how it works. The reason that I am doing this is in part, to promote my website and jewelry "Jewelry For a Cause." A few of my passions (I seem to have many) are helping and serving others, and art. I have been creating jewelry for many years, but really haven't done anything more than create and sell to a few wonderful friends and family here and there. Then, I had an idea. I felt called to go to Fiji to help install water filters for the Fijian people. I needed to raise the money. I didn't want to just ask, so I thought I could give a gift of my jewelry in return for a donation towards my trip. It was such a success that I came up with "Jewelry For a Cause."

So, here I go.....Check out my site. Go to Etsy.com and click on sellers. You will find me under mkelly 789. I look forward to chatting!!!!
